Hello! My name is Jamie Mayers and I am an actor, writer, and filmmaker based in New York City. I’m originally from Montreal, which explains why I apologize for everything all the time. I’ve been working professionally in film, TV, theatre, and video games since the age of ten.
Some of the work that I’m most proud of includes my performance in the Canadian indie film Venus directed by Eisha Marjara. Venus was screened at film festivals all over the world, and I won the award for “Best Actor” at the Transgender Film Festival in Kiel, Germany.
I also got to spend my sophomore year of high school co-starring on Game On, a sitcom that aired on YTV and was directed by Jacob Tierney.
As much as I love being on camera, I have equally enjoyed using my voice for roles like King Ptolemy in Assassin’s Creed Origins, Young Connor in Assassin’s Creed 3, and also for numerous radio commercials.
While film and TV are what I have primarily been working in and studying over the last few years, I have never abandoned my first love of the stage. In January and February of 2020, I had the immense pleasure of working on The Louder We Get at Theatre Calgary directed by Lonny Price.
As a graduate of the BFA Acting for Film, Television, Voice-over, & Commercials program at Pace University, and Stagedoor Manor Performing Arts Training Center, I have always had a love for learning and I am so excited to see what the future holds. Thanks for checking out my website!
